To tell the truth I used to think that the rhythms like "everyone has to be inspired by others" and "doing art is not just sitting somewhere for 20 mins and creating a masterpiece" are bullshit. How come it is not like that? Of course it is!
Now, when I have 10 mins I'm doing nothing but staring at my blank sketchbook and waiting for the big ideas to come...of course they are not coming at all. When do they appear? Surely in the most unsuitable moments: when I should have been sleeping after a long workday, or when I'm talking to someone who inspires me, etc... So yes, all of us need inspirations and we have to take the time for being inspired. I will show You what I use for this purpose:

No matter where I travel I always try to visit one of the following places:

- the local market (because I love cooking and eating...but this is another story :))
- jewelry galleries, flea markets or studios (because I love jewelries)

Nézelődés Balin a Blanco múzeumban, illetve Barcelonában....igen, ékszert választani komoly dolog :D
Yearning for some beauties in Blanco Museum Bali, and also in Barcelona....yes, choosing a jewelry is a serious issue :D

"Sticking on the shopwindow" mode ON, and throwing the "tell-me-I-can-get-one" glance at my husband :)

A legfantasztikusabb hely pedig ahol eddig jártam: Barcelonában a La Basílica Galería.

The most inspiring place I have ever been is the La Basilica Galería in Barcelona. What I found there on that 90 square meters is the heaven itself! You cannot imagine a material, shape or design which could not be found there! As I mentioned in my previous post I had chosen a beautiful ring, but it turned out that the numbers what I thought to be the code of the ring were its price...okay, no problem, I still had a Plan B in the form of a fantastic pair of earrings...yes, they were raw diamonds with platinum holders. This was the moment when I informed the shop assistant that my budget didn't consist that much "0"s :) Finally I left the gallery with beautiful memories and a unique antiqued silver pedant. But the pictures and the webpage speaks for themselves!

                                         Szürreális...
                 Surreal...

                                          Mesebeli...
                                          Legendary...

                                          Ösztönző...
                                     Suggestive...

...and makes me fall in love (the ring had the same style)

                                         Csodálatos :)
                                         Magical:)

Do You like them? I think they are fantastic, event though I accept that some of them are not ordinary pieces, but they push you further. They force you to answer the question: what if I choose the other way? Why not crossing our own boundaries? :)
