A GÖMB kollekció Nr.2 // THE ORB collection Nr.r

As I mentioned at the end of my previous post (OMG I feel like writing a telenovela :D) some more versions of the "egg" jewelries were born as a result of a coincidence. I was thinking on a fully other concept when I saw the "light" in the mess (yes, real mess, my  table was everything but not organized): the orbs were rolling beneath the test-pieces of the patina covered metal. So I decided to assist in a beautiful marriage...Why I was so brave to mix copper with clay? You know I'm having the jewelry-making sessions Mondays, and no matter we learn how to handle different metals I still love to work with my ordinary materials like clay, paper, etc. So I would like to mix the techniques and materials as I do believe that this is how exciting, new-wave things are born.

I didn't have to convince myself: of course I gave a try! :)
Do you think I was right?

I didn't want to overcomplicate this piece, nice as it is, without any "extras"

Aztán a következő gömb kapott egy patinázott lapot, illetve kristályokat. Csodaszépen működnek együtt!

The next "egg" got a piece of metal with patina as a friend and also some crystals on the inner surface. They're cooperating beautifully !

A harmadik gömböc is patinázott rudat kapott, minden fakszni nélkül. Se kő, se festés, csak a réz és az agyag.

The third orb got also a metal piece with patina. No crystals, so paint, just copper and clay.

Aaaand, yes, we arrived to the moment where I have something to consider: I was really thinking a lot about the question whether the  jewelries always need to have some message, meaning, story behind. If there is any should it be clearly communicated (I mean said straightforwardly) by its creator? Could they be simply "nice"?  When these jewelries were in my hands I just felt that there is an exact reason for the shape, for the material they are made of, and also the position of the different parts. But I think it is not time  for saying them aloud...neither time for writing them down...So this will remain an open question to my "psychologist" readers! :)
